Share The Ride NC provides transportation resources for UNCA students including Carpool, Transit, Telework, and Vanpool for local and regional transportation.

Using your home and work or school addresses, you will be matched to nearby commuters with similar schedules. Your home address will never appear on match lists. When you receive your list of matches, you may choose who to contact. There are no obligations or requirements.
Asheville Regional Airport
Asheville is home to the Asheville Regional Airport which is located in Fletcher on the Buncombe County / Henderson County line (61 Terminal Drive, Fletcher, N.C. 28732). The airport is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It has several amenities, including free wi-fi, a restaurant in the terminal, and gate area power-outlets. Allegiant, Delta, United, Jet Blue and American (U.S. Airways) all fly to/from AVL.

UNC-Asheville Airport Shuttle
Transportation Services provides shuttle service between campus and the Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) for students departing for holiday breaks. Information will be posted here when the shuttles are available.
Please note that the UNC-Asheville shuttle is not responsible for missed flights. Please plan accordingly as delays, traffic, and other events can delay transport. Please plan extra time into your trip so as not to miss your flight.
