Evening RED/BLUE Extended Routes

Great news! We have finalized our fixed-route evening service. No need to call campus police and wait for a ride. Our evening routes should reduce wait-times, provide a more reliable service, and reduce fossil-fuel consumption. Each route loop will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Evening routes run Monday through Thursday. A shuttle will flex a route between 8:30-8:40 for a “last call” for service at 838 Riverside on Monday nights and upon request.

Red Evening Route resumes Service at 5:40 p.m. and runs until 9:40 p.m. The Blue Evening Routes resumes service at 5:30 and runs until 9:30 p.m.

Breaks and Holidays: The Red/Blue/Purple only operate when classes are in session during the Fall and Spring semesters. This includes exam week and reading days. However, when there are no regularly scheduled classes taking place, holidays, or other breaks between semesters, there is no shuttle service. However, UNC Asheville’s partnership with the City of Asheville’s Passport program is available when classes are not in session. There is no shuttle service during the Summer I and Summer II session.
